PART 2: Preparation course for the specialist language exam for medical professionals (blended learning)

LEARN ONLINE & IN PERSON (July 14th  - July 25th, 2025)

Prepare yourself optimally for the specialist language exam for medical professionals - with our innovative blended learning course!

This course combines flexible online learning modules with an intensive face-to-face phase to provide you with comprehensive and effective exam preparation.

Course structure

1. Online learning module (approx. 30 hours)

Start immediately at your own pace with our interactive online learning modules. These include:

- Videos with real-life medical scenarios,

- Flash cards for key medical terminology,

- tasks and quizzes to reinforce and test your knowledge.

The modules cover the relevant topics of the medicine language exam - from making a diagnosis to communicating with patients and colleagues. Here you build up your basic knowledge at your own pace, which you then use to start the classroom phase. We recommend dividing the online learning module into at least 10 learning days. 

2. Attendance phase (2 weeks intensive) (July 14th - July 25th, 2025)
After completing the online modules, you will take part in an intensive face-to-face phase. This takes place over two weeks from July 14th - July 25th, 2025, Monday to Friday with 3 hours of instruction per day. This phase is led by an experienced and specially trained trainer who:

    - discusses your questions from the online training,
    - simulates realistic exam situations,
    - gives you targeted feedback,
    - addresses individual challenges and
    - strengthens your communicative confidence in technical discussions.

Course content:

- Writing Doctor's letters

- Doctor-doctor conversations

- Organ systems - Part 2

- Elaboration of concrete case studies

Who is the course suitable for?
This course is aimed at international medical professionals who wish to take the specialist language exam in Germany. It is particularly suitable for participants who would like to benefit from flexible self-study phases as well as personal training.

Participants should have completed the German C1 Language Level when joining the course.
